I ask you: Where is your genius in your practice? Where’s your inspiration? Where’s the magic? Where’s the fun? Where’s the flow from the Divine, through you, through the pleading, through the legal argument , in the brief, in the judicial decision? And if you have been able to locate it, is it consistent? You can have a consistent flow of enjoyment in each day. This flow of power is always there and as you come to work with this power on a more consistent basis you will be able to become aware of it at any point in your day. The flow of power is so strong, so real, that it put the rest of the things in perspective. From this perspective of the realness and goodness of the Truth of who you are, your creative channels are unlocked and you are co-creating with the Divine.
The practice of law IS a creative process. Become comfortable with muse and inspiration. Being an excellent practitioner of the law pretty much requires your genius. From where shall your genius flow? The human flesh? The same human flesh you beat up, denigrate and destroy? That limited human? I ask you again, from where shall your genius flow? It must come from a power greater than your human self. You as a spiritual being incarnating into a human body would not have likely left yourself without access to a Power of Creative Intelligence. The Power of the Divine. The Power of the Universe. The Power of your Creator. The Power of Your Higher Self. The Power of YOU. This Power is naturally and rightfully yours to experience, love, appreciate, and use. And actually, this Power has never separated from you, even if you have not previously believed in a Creative Power or Intelligence. (You and your father (Creator) are one). The GREAT news is that even if you have unbelief, or have otherwise tried to block or separate yourself from this Power, this Power is present within you and this Power desires you to acknowledge and work with It.
Imagine: A life where you can sit down at your laptop just as a pianist sits at their piano ready to tap into a sort of alternative reality to bring forth the absolute love and beauty of the Universe through their music? Just as the pianist taps the ivory keys and arranges the notes that are so beautiful, so moving, it is almost “out of this world”, you tap the keys of your keyboard channeling something from a higher internal divine place that arranges the law and facts in a way that moves the heart of the judge, affirms your client, and speaks justice to the world. Mmmmm. How great thou art. How great is the Spirit of the Divine moving through the individualized human that you are when you allow it all to merge and flow from within you. How great thou art!
